The Wildwoods are easily accessible by car, just minutes off of the Garden State Parkway, the route the majority of vacationers from the tri-state area take.

By bus:
There are also numerous buses that run into the bus terminal in Wildwood, which is located in the center of town on Davis St

By plane:
Nearby Atlantic City is home to an international airport, which has several car rental distributors on site, as well as limousine companies to take tourists from the airport to Wildwood. Atlantic City International Airport is located 45 minutes north of the Wildwoods. Philadelphia International Airport is located approximately 2 hours away, as well.

Day 1
Day One: Hit the beach early, Get to know the boardwalk

* Plan on checking in around 2 pm. Most hotels permit early parking to allow you to enjoy the daylight activities.

you can park your car around 10 AM and retrieve you Beach gear and head down to the beach.

Time spent: 1-3 hrs.

* After Checking in have some lunch. there are plenty of places to have a nice lunch along the boardwalk.

Once in Wildwood, it is incredibly easy to navigate your way around. If needed, the entire island is walkable. However, many people choose to drive for time and convenience purposes. Be careful though, parking can be expensive! Many residents and tourists choose to ride their own bikes or rent them from one of the several rental facilities in the town. You can rent singles, doubles, or even family sized bikes.

To get from place to place on the boardwalk, which spans numerous miles, many choose to hop aboard the tram car, which is a small, trolley-like vehicle that drives solely from one end of the boardwalk to the other ($3 each way)

Hang around the boardwalk, eat and have fun. look for the boardwalk performers and enjoy the local arcades on the board. If you arrive on a Friday stay up till the firework display starts. Eat dinner at one of the restaurants on the boardwalk. the one we frequently visited was the Jumbo’s Grub & Pub Which serves Nice Margaritas and have a second-floor dinner view of the boardwalk and the beach.

After a dinner head back to the hotel enjoy the late night pool or watch some Netflix in the room with the family ( Tip: I brought my firestick from home to enjoy my own content). Sleep like a baby and get ready to enjoy another full day at the beach.

Day 2
Water Park Fun

Our main attractions to Wildwood are the waterparks. This beachfront water park offers waterslides & interactive water activities, plus concessions. We decide to buy the More piers admission from the website to get more bang for our buck we decide to buy the water parks admissions separately and the theme parks pay as you go. we are not very thrill with rides so for us was easy to pass by. if you are into amusement rides then decide on taking advantage of their combo discounts or as I mention in our PDF guide use the hotel’s discounts or your local AAA agency for better deals.

We started the morning at the Raging Waters parks to avoid the crowds as this park can fill up quickly. this park is more family oriented and has thrill rides. After a full morning of fun, we packed our clothes and headed to the boardwalk to eat lunch.

We ate at the famous Mack pizzeria. their Pizza is pretty good and the service was friendly. We then headed to the Ocean Oasis Waterpark. This water park is more adult oriented, it has a tiki bar and swims up bar. there is a reserved area for hammocks and a lazy river that connects the park all across. We spend a full day at the water park and enjoy food from their restaurant on site. We headed back to the motel around 6:00 pm and enjoy the pool and rested, then we went out to enjoy the boardwalk fun and its activities.

Day 3
Beach Day and Rollercoaster

The Wildwoods also hosts many festivals and special weekends. During Memorial Day weekend, there are parades and many street vendors and special activities to celebrate. Ensure you align your daily activities with these events to take the best of it. We wake up early and enjoy the bike ride from the bike rental place like many of Wildwood visitors.

The Wilwood beaches, for the most part, are clean and inviting. Covered with white sand and mostly calm waters. We get up early to get to the local market first using the bikes we buy fruits and snacks to take to the beach. There are other activities and There many places to rent boats and jet skis, or you can hop aboard the Thunder Cat, a huge speedboat, that takes you right along the coastline at top speed then out off the coast a couple miles to Whale watch. We opted for just a fun day at the beach and entertain ourselves building sand castles. We did take advantage of the water taxi as the walk to the beach can be very far. We ate lunch at the boardwalk and ate the famous Curly Fries. After lunch, we headed tot he hotel and enjoyed the pool, after the pool, we went back to the boardwalk and hit every theme park ride available. this was very fun. the Surfside pier has the big white roller coaster that gives you a nice view of the entire boardwalk. here is our Travel hack ninja tip that we did use in previous occasions.

Get the all-day pass for all piers and water parks. $75. hit All three piers until midnight, then use the water park passes another day 9 to 5.

Overall, Wildwood has the best boardwalks in the state with Morey’s. The kids love the rides, the food is awesome, and there are plenty of games to try your hand.

Day 4
The Farewell and exploring the surroundings

On our last day, We enjoy another early day on the bikes and bought souvenirs before checking out of the motel. The check out usually occurs around 11:00 AM you can negotiate with the hotel management to leave the car park for the rest of your stay or pay parking around $ 4. We Decide to spend the rest of our day visiting the nearby Cape may Zoo with has plenty to do for families. We headed to Atlantic city which was nearby and on our path going back home. once in Atlantic city we had lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe which is a rainforest theme restaurant, we had such a great experieince before heading home.
